Made In America Hot Product Contest Seeks Co-Sponsors

National Mail Order Association competition searches for unique, interesting products

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, April 2, 2012 -- Patriotic businesses are being sought by the National Mail Order Association, NMOA, to help sponsor the 2012 Made in America – Hot Product Contest.

If you are a pro ‘American Made’ company that wants to support the Made in USA movement, you now have a way to give your support and gain some valuable exposure for doing it.

The Made in America – Hot Product Contest is all about promoting ‘American Made’ products. And not just the Big Guys -- it’s mostly about helping the thousands of small shops and inventors around the USA.

“We’ve been told for years that small business is the backbone of the American economy” says John Schulte, president of the NMOA. “And it’s true, but it’s hard to deny that over the years no one has been paying much attention to this fact. And now our economy and manufacturing base is in deep trouble. American manufacturing has taken a back seat to cheap exported labor and low quality products.”

“Even under all this pressure to ‘outsource’ production, many hard working Americans have refused to compromise their principles and have continued to keep their products being made right here in the good ol’ USA. And this contest is about seeking these products out and showing them off to other Americans across the USA in an effort to have more American products sold.”

“In the grand scheme of things, if we can get the 250 million adults in America to simply redirect just $100 of their normal yearly expenditures towards Made in America products, we can add an extra Twenty-five Billion ($25,000,000,000) to the US economy, and those extra sales mean more jobs to make more products, and that’s something worthwhile to do.” continues Schulte.

“There are thousands of unique and interesting products being made all over America, fantastic products most Americans have never seen, or will see, unless we do something about it. This contest is meant to bring these products into the spotlight for all to see, and vote for.* concludes Schulte.

To accomplish this goal the NMOA has taken the lead in sponsoring this 2012 contest, and wants others to follow suit. Sponsorships can be in the way of cash, contest promotion or services in trade, prizes for winners, etc.

If you would like to support, or be a co-sponsor of the ‘Made in America – Hot Product Contest’ in any way, please contact John Schulte at the National Mail Order Association, by April 20th for details. schulte@nmoa.org 612-788-1673

NOTE: Four levels of sponsorship are available. Platinum sponsorships include exclusive exposure.
You don’t need cash to be a sponsor. These amounts can be in the way of cash or trade, or combination, or prizes, or equivalent value of exposure/publicity for the contest.

* This year regular Americans will be the contest judges and vote for their favorite products.

PS: Remember, there are over 12 million people all over the USA whose job is directly tied to American manufacturing, from the large companies down to the small mom and pop operation. Please join with the NMOA today in promoting products Made in America. It will be great fun too!

Patriotic business leaders with an eye for publicity are being asked to step forward to support the biggest Made in America contest ever.
