There are two reasons that we charge a $35.00 processing fee to enter our contest.

The first is to limit frivolous product entries. It's a qualifier to make sure we get serious people entering real products.

The second reason is that a fee helps recover some of the expenses for conducting the contest. Every product entered in our contest needs to be: opened, logged into our system, written about, placed in our newsletter, examined and evaluated, notified by mail who the winners were, and potentially included in the awards and  prizes to be dispersed. This all costs time and money. Our goal is to break even.

The entry/processing fee is not a profit center for the Association.
