13 Platinum "To Do's" To Get More Response
I agree with this statement: "Each and every element in a direct mail package, space ad, on your WWW site - anywhere - is equally important."

Web Sites Must Meet Marketing Objectives and Many Dont
Since putting up my Web site www.bly.com in April 1998, Ive received a ton of unsolicited e-mails, faxes, and phone calls from casual Internet surfers as well as Web professionals with all sorts of advice on how to make my Web site better.

Unfortunately, more than 90 percent of their suggestions are almost totally off the mark and would be a complete waste of my time and money.
Why is this the case? Its not that site visitors dont have valid opinions on graphics or content, or that Web professionals dont have good ideas. They do.

The problem is, all the advice is given with no thought as to the business objective of my site and whether the enhancement would further this goal.

For example, a Web consultant called and said: You are not getting nearly as much traffic as you should. I can help you get much more. He would advise me, he promised, on how to help my Web site get more hits than the New York Yankees. I politely explained I had absolutely no desire to increase hits to my Web site, and was not interested in what he was selling. Click here for the full story.

How to make an extra few hundred dollars each month.
This message is for those subscribers that have not yet started doing anything to create new cash flow.

If you want "or need" to make extra money, but have not started doing anything about it yet, now is the time to act. Don't wait until you've been laid off, or your salary is cut, start doing something now.

From years of personal experience, I can tell you that the words from Frank Tibolt are absolutely true: We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action.

You have to start doing something, anything is better than nothing. You have to put yourself in the game if you want to get anywhere. Once you're in the game, even if you're not playing in the position you want, other opportunities will present themselves because you are in the game.

Here's an easy start. Go out and buy a dozen of something you think is cool, or useful, at wholesale, and sell them for more than you paid. Simple as that. Show your friends, workmates, relatives, etc.

If you don't want to buy and sell a product, then provide a service. What skills do you have? Can you bake cupcakes? Can you sew? Are you handy? Put out your shingle and get in the game. If you continue to put things off until you think you're ready...you'll never start. There will never be a perfect time. You are simply making excuses if you delay action.

If you seriously think you need some additional instruction, then invest in yourself right now, get yourself a copy of Direct Marketing Toolkit. After you read it, you're ready. Don't put it off.

The main key to making money is ACTION!

Business Energy Efficiency Analysis
For business owners to make rational business decisions about which energy efficiency actions are the most cost-effective to implement, cost/benefit analysis provides a useful set of tools. There are various levels of this type of analysis, from very simple to extremely complex.

While many energy efficiency investments appear to be more expensive than less environmentally sound choices, a careful long-term analysis of them most often reveals that the greenest upgrades or investments are often the most cost-effective over the long term, not simply by considering the initial cost of investment. Most energy efficiency measures have a relatively short payback period and provide good returns on your investment.

As energy prices continue to escalate, the affordability of efficiency becomes much clearer. To analyze the economic impacts of your energy efficiency measures, you can use two basic economic analysis tools.
