The Palm Light
Traditional lights require one hand to be used to hold it in place. Flash lights for example, are a great source of light, however when you need light directly where you are doing your work, a flashlight just will not work. Flashlights can be blocked by shadows from surrounding objects or even your own hand.

This example is one of the many reasons we decided to develop a simple, convenient light source that fits directly in the palm of your hand, the Palm Light. Our Palm Light is 19 by 50 mm in size, uses four 1.5v batteries to power two high output LED's, and it straps directly to your hand with a black Velcro band which is also cuttable for any sized hand.

The Palm Light is great for:

Use as a safety light.
Managing your way through a dark room.
Working in closed dark spaces.
Reading at night.
When on a camping trip.
Jogging, hiking or biking at night.
Changing a tire in the dark.
And much more...

Five Facts about SEO and PPC Every Businessperson Should Know
Mention the words SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and PPC (Pay Per Click) to most business owners and you’re sure to either see blank faces, or hear stories of frustration. Either they don’t utilize these marketing techniques at all, or they’ve handed their company’s Web site SEO and PPC activities over to an agency and have little idea what’s going on with either, or they’ve “done it themselves” and had lackluster results at best.

This is unfortunate, because SEO and PPC are the foundation of any good Web site marketing plan. SEO refers to manipulating Web site content in a way that improves your chances of appearing on top of the results page; whereas PPC allows you pay for an advertisement or sponsored link to show up on the top results page, and you are charged for each click. If you want to be successful in business, both of these techniques are imperative. Think of it like building a house. If you build the roof before you build the foundation, you really don’t have a house. Likewise, if you launch a Web site or engage in fad Web marketing techniques (such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.) without solid SEO and PPC in place, you’re wasting both your time and money – two things that are precious in the business world.

If you want to get real results from your SEO and PPC campaigns, start connecting with your customers and use the following tips to make your SEO and PPC campaigns a profitable endeavor.

Buying and Selling within the Affluent Market Segment:
Has it changed in today’s economy?
Whether the economy is booming or braking, affluent homeowners still spend on home improvement, fine dining, personal improvement and entertainment, according to RSVP Publications (www.rsvppublications.com), an upscale direct marketing firm specializing in marketing to affluent homeowners.

“That doesn’t mean affluent homeowners haven’t changed their spending patterns during this economic downturn,” says Larry Golden, RSVP’s co-CEO. “Several emerging patterns provide valuable clues for businesses selling to this market. And, in turn, there are tips to help affluent homeowners get the most for what they spend.”

Trends or blips?
CNN and other sources have reported on what’s been called “staycations,” in which individuals have replaced their destination trips with a stay-at-home experience or home project. Although much information is anecdotal, it appears to demonstrate some changing spending habits.

Being a Well-Loved Boss
If you're a manager, supervisor, department head, senior executive, or business owner, it's more important to be respected than to be loved. But here's a secret: You can be both.

Being a well-loved boss isn't about developing a cult of personality. In fact, you don't have to have fantastic people skills to win over employees. What you do need is a commitment to make connection--real connection--with the people who work under you. That means getting to know their challenges, their work style, their stressors, and their role in the overall functioning of your company. It also means noticing them, acknowledging them, and listening to them.
