Some Letters from NMOA members
Dear John,
When I first started my mail order business, I mostly learned by trial and
error. I had many questions but no one to turn to for answers. When I joined
the NMOA you provided me with the answers that shed light into this
territory and gave me the information and encouragement that I needed. It
was nice to have someone to talk to. I can't thank you and the NMOA enough
for your help and patience.
I strongly recommend the NMOA to anyone or organization that wants to be or
are already involved in Mail Order. The information I received is worth so
much more than the cost of joining this organization.
Best regards,
PJ Baptiste

Dear Mr. Schulte,
Joining the NMOA gave me confidence that I would get business leads. Now I'm
not in need of leads anymore -- which is a great thing! However, I still
like being a member of the NMOA because it adds 'credibility' to my
business. Also, I noticed some 'copywriting tips' on the 'members only'
section of NMOA's website. I wanted to learn some more insights. I also
admire that NMOA helps small businesses -- like me.

Dear NMOA,
Everyone at BetterBox Communications North America Inc. would like to thank John Schulte for the knowledge and professionalism shown during a
recent requirement for an expert witness in which John was able to help us resolve some major problems we had entering the USA Market with our
Data Communications mail order catalog.
You all at the NMOA have a nice Christmas and a happy New Year.

Hi John,
Just wanted to let you know that so far the
products are a hit where I'm selling them at.
I am really excited about selling these products.
Looking forward to doing a long business through NMOA. I just wish I had come across the NMOA a couple of years ago. This looks like the one I
should have done a long time ago.
Sincerely
Charles Fish
Mr. Schulte,
Thank you for recommending us for the magazine article. Entrepreneur interviewed
Dad by phone and sent a photographer who stayed all day and took pictures of the entire
family and business. The article will appear in the February 97 issue - look for it!
Happy Holidays!

Dear Mr. Schulte,
I am writing to send my most sincere gratitude. I am an individual just starting
a mail order business. Needless to say, I had many questions and concerns. I joined the
National Mail Order Association hoping to receive a little guidance. As it turned out, I
received more ideas and encouragement than I could have ever hoped for.
Starting a new business can be a very
intimidating and frightening process. I needed the encouragement that I was given. I am
grateful to you for taking the time to talk with me at length on the telephone. It helps
to hear someone say, "Dont give up!," "Youre doing fine,"
and "I want to help!" I am happy to know that I have someone to turn to for
assistance. I am glad that the National Mail Order Association is in existence!
Sincerely,
Diana Kotowski

Mr. Schulte,
Thanks a million for the quick turn-around time to my fax. You make me feel that
Im getting my moneys worth with the NMOA. The answers to my questions where
answered to my satisfaction.
The same time you were faxing to me I was on
the other line with Mr. Mladjenovic, he was delighted to hear that Im a new member
with the NMOA. He is the best. I will be flying to New York to attend his mail order
seminar. Between you and Paul it was a blessed day.
Thank you Mr. Schulte for making me feel right
at home.
Will be in touch,
Gwen

Dear John,
Sorry its taken me so long to send this letter to you. Its been a
very hectic month. In addition to four shows (back-to-back), we just did a major mailing
and have been swamped with orders. I guess those are the kinds of problems everyone wants
to have!
At any rate, I cant say "thank
you" enough for all your help. The wonderful press coverage is worth thousands of
advertising dollars. Enclosed is a little "gift" from the GFP.
You and the National Mail Order Association
are the quintessential resource for any mail order company. From information on software
packages tailored to mail order businesses to tips on mailings and mailing houses, the
Association is a godsend. The newsletter is filled with tidbits aimed at making life easy
for the up-and-coming businesses and provides continuous updates on changes in the
industry and new mailing lists.
As a relatively new kid on the block (by
William Sonoma standards), we still have lots to learn. Just a phone call to you and we
have our answers. Its comforting to have a lifeline to the industry!
Thanks again, John. Im sure Ill be
talking with you again soon.
All the best,
Beth Hillson
